OPEN SESSION with ARIADNE: Women, Theatre, Conflict

10.30 - 12.00 Saturday 26 September
Samuel Beckett Theatre, Trinity College Dublin

IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE DUBLIN THEATRE FESTIVAL AND NEXT STAGE

ARIADNE is a collective of women theatremakers working in conflict affected areas. They are all currently in Dublin taking part in 'The Nest', a week-long residency at the Drama Department of Trinity College.

In this free session to the public, the theatre directors who are between them working in Belarus, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Palestine, Serbia and Sri Lanka presented their creative methodology, updated on current projects and outlined plans for the future. They also revealed their first artistic co-creation, DEAR CHILDREN, SINCERELY..., with performed readings of monologues.
